What happens when you use the QWERTY keyboard for chord parsing input (disconnect the MIDI keyboard completely and turn on the computer keyboard with the "Keyboard" palette). Can you test that?djigoo wrote:Here are two short charts which include the problem I'm having.

So that whole thing was input using the QWERTY keyboard input?djigoo wrote:polarbreeze wrote:What happens when you use the QWERTY keyboard for chord parsing input (disconnect the MIDI keyboard completely and turn on the computer keyboard with the "Keyboard" palette). Here's "Yankee Doodle." Again, I played only simple chords...I-III-V. You can see the results.

Which keys did you press to get the G13sus4? What was that chord supposed to be?
Did you enter the melody with real time input?
Was your MIDI keyboard completely disconnected?

You are right.djigoo wrote:Thank you for the chord charts, but even when following them exactly, sometimes the chord works....sometimes I get no symbol at all.

I agree.
Note entry by MIDI-keyboard is buggy and Chord Symbol entry by MIDI-keyboard is buggy as well.
I am very sorry, to admit this is a fact, for now.
Crucial: when will the bugs be killed?![]()
Kind regards

MIDI entry on Windows 7 is very much dependent upon having updated MIDI drivers for your hardware. Our tech support has done research in this area and found that very few companies have Win7 compatible drivers. Please check with your MIDI interface hardware manufacturer.
