Your keyboard has two round multi-pin sockets on it. They are MIDI-IN and MIDI-OUT. Your connection to the computer is USB (I suppose, please confirm). What goes between them is a cable and an adapter (which converts between USB and MIDI). You need to know the make/model of the adapter. Possibly the adapter is integrated with the cables into one piece, in which case you need to know the make/model of that. When you have that information, you can get the drivers by going to the manufacturer's website and looking in the "support" or "downloads" area.djigoo wrote:I don't know what a MIDI adapter is; I just have cables (in and out) running between the keyboard and the computer.
How would I find the latest drivers?

I doubt it's your cables - any quality will do the job. But to see if one of them is faulty, you could just swap them (ie change the 'in" for the "out") and see if that makes any difference. I think it's most likely some kind of driver/software problem. You could try uninstalling and re-installing your EMU card.djigoo wrote:Could it be something as simple as replacing my MIDI cables? They're run-of-the-mill cables from Radio Shack.
