Encore sometimes dismisses the current selection after an operation.
- Two suggestions:
- 1) Encore should not dismiss the current selection needlessly
2) The user should always be able to recall the previous with a keystroke.

One example is when a pair of notes are selected sequentially with shift+double-click. Subsequently, when applying command [t] for tie or command [l] for slur, Encore simply dismisses the selection.

For comparison, in Encore/Windows 5.0.2, this gesture acts just like consecutive shift-click gestures (regardless of the inter-click time).
Is the intent of this gesture documented anyplace?
Doug Kerr wrote:You speak of selecting two consecutive notes with shift+double-click. I assume this requires two uses of the gesture. If so, what is the purpose of doing this rather than using shift-click twice?

There is no official purpose that I know of. I just happened to notice that Encore responds to this gesture, though oddly.
