IAC Bus MTP 6.8.3 Mac

Does anyone have any good tutorials on using IAC bus with MTP 6.8.3 on Mac OSX 10.4?

I can make the IAC bus work fine with other applications but when I try to get MTPro to talk to any other application over IAC bus things go haywire.

After I try to use the IAC bus in MTPro it seems to clobber the normal serial port driver ... I have to re-start them Mac, and "disable" the IAC driver in Audio MIDI Setup to make the serial driver (USB port) work properly again.

As long as I only use the serial port, everything seems relatively stable but the instant I try to map the MIDI data to some other apps things go haywire.

Well, I made it work. I'm not sure how stable it will be but I made MTP 6.8 on Mac OS-X drive Reason over the IAC bus.

I configured IAC driver to have a Reason Port and a MTP Port. I set up MTP to send to the Reason IAC Port. I set up Reason to respond to the IAC Port. and it worked.

MT Pro is getting input from my O2 controller, recording it, and driving Reason. I have not tried it with an external keyboard and a usb MIDI interface yet.

Well there are curious problems to solve however. Reason is configured to respond to my O2 controller. If I disconnect my controller from Reason and then try to drive it entirely from PRO with the "THRU ON" function, there's a bizarre (I assume MIDI) feedback problem that develops. I'm trying to come up with a scenario where I drive Reason from MT Pro and can map the different tracks to different items in the rack.

Oh .. btw -- I do this all the time when I use TWO COMPUTERS ... running the old MT Pro 6.5 on my old Mac and connecting through my switcher/interfaces to my new computer running Reason. It works like a charm that way. I just wanted to try to drive Reason straight through the IAC bus on with pro 6.8.
