Rich,

This forum is becoming so great especially with the introduction of "UPLOAD ATTACHEMENT" feature!

Please we want to have the ability to attach *.PDF *.ZIP and *.RAR files. If not *.PDF just teh *.ZIP or *.RAR files as we could compress the *.PDF, *.ENC, *.MUS and *.MID within the *.ZIP or *.RAR attachement.

I really like the new look of this forum

hi Nor,

We do plan on adding that feature to the forum, but we would need to upgrade the forum software to do so. Our web developer suggests we wait until he has properly checked out the new forum software and is sure it will work for our needs.

ENCORE FOR MAC 5.0.4.1

Postby hOlivera1 » Thu Sep 17, 2009 5:43 am

Am I the only person having problems with Encore for Mac 5.0.4.1?
Please somebody help!!!!
I am loosing my patience quickly with a program that I use to love 10 years ago!
I have been a user of Encore for over 17 years but now I am wondering what is going on!
Problems with "Align Spacing", "Grace Notes", "Clefs that switch from one page to the next for no reason at all", "key signature that cahnge from one page to the other for no reason at alL".
" Frequent Program Crashes when using "SLURS"
"Toolbar that frequently disappears for no reason at all...
I need help!
I would just love to hear from someone else that it is also having problems...And I think that we make me feel better...
Using MAC power book Intel, 10.5.8 with Mac 24" Display.
Please!
I am sinking fast! SOS, SOS, SOS ...

    Hi hOlivera1,

A day after you posted this message you reposted it in a better location:

In general, when reposting, it's helpful to delete prior duplicates—otherwise responses become scattered between crossposts. I'd recommend that you delete the message you posted her, and leave the latter.

Richard,
I am still very grateful to have Encore, you guys are the best at easy to use notation software that is universal and works extremely well with choral music. Please continue to fix bugs and upgrade, we await the next update so that we can continue to enjoy the benefits of Encore. I'm freaking out a bit on the word problems, I have a lot of smooshed lyrics. Thanks!!!

"Clefs that switch from one page to the next for no reason at all",
"key signature that cahnge from one page to the other for no reason at alL".

these are actually the same bug that i have already fixed for the next release. if it is any consolation, it only a display bug and is relatively harmlsess.

Problems with "Align Spacing", "Grace Notes",
" Frequent Program Crashes when using "SLURS"
"Toolbar that frequently disappears for no reason at all...

can you give more details?
