Importing Encore v.4.x.x files to v.5.0.6

I'm sure everyone has their own priorities for the upcoming upgrades but I'd just like to mention one which, for me, is a deal-maker or a deal-breaker. When Encore 4.x.x files are imported into Encore 5.0.6, the formatting gets seriously messed up. The page margins are different in 5.0.6 (it would help to know what the page margin settings are in 4.x.x so that they can be re-set) meaning that, using, say, the A4 page size default or a custom setting, the right page percentage has to be found by trial and error. Also text boxes move out of place, slur markings change size, fingerings that are not locked to the note, move out of place and so on. Re-adjustments may require a quite unreasonable amount of time.
If GVOX wants long-term users to transfer definitively to the upcoming upgrades, fixing this must really be made a priority.
Best wishes.

Your post makes a lot of sense. I do have to make some adjustments every time I open an Encore 4 file. The placement of part markers, which are text in a box, is the most problematic, since moving text is the main cause of Encore 5 crashing for me. And then there is the annoyance of forgetting once in awhile to adjust the print margins, so I print a wasted page.
