Beware of Pirated Encore

There has been some discussion about obtaining Encore for free or really cheap. Here's what we know from some unfortunate users of the illegal versions: "after the worm started to run, my hard drive was trash", "I tried to save and my screen turned blue", "there's nothing left"...

Please note, we cannot provide technical assistance for a product that wasn't paid for and we may be terse about it.

This morning I found a site that is selling ILLEGAL - Pirated downloads of Encore for a normal price (not really cheap), pretending to be an authorized resell of our products.

It is very important that you purchase through an authorized reseller. A list of authorized resellers is available here: http://www.gvox.com/otherplacestobuy.php

Failure to purchase through an authorized reseller will result is no technical or customer support and possible viruses (we have found viruses in illegal copies) as well as federal copyright violations.

Be careful when purchasing any software from a less than reputable source.

Please do not list any urls to these sources on the forum, even to bring them to my attention.
