systems per page limit in Encore 4.5

Hi

here's my situation:

my score is for full orchestra (give or take a few instruments) but it's large. I have it set up for 11x17" paper (ledger size)
a few spots only use minimal instrumentation so I am hiding unnecessary staves. In order to use space efficiently, and not have too many wasted pages, I want to have at least 3 systems on 1 page. However, Encore is refusing me to have more than 2. I clearly have plenty of room for more than 2. Ledger size paper with only 3 staves in system 1 and 3 staves in system 2 and I can't for the life of me figure out how to have a 3rd system. I really don't want to have to fill the page with empty measures when I can use that space for better uses.

Is there a trick I'm missing?

I don't know if the per-page limit has changed in Encore 5 -- but in Encore 4.5 for Windows, page 203 of the manual effectively says there is a limit of 64 staves per page regardless of the number of systems involved. If you have more than 21 staves per system, Encore 4.5 won't let you have more than 2 systems per page. I doubt that hidden staves would be excluded from that count.

Exactly.
However, I can imagine situations where it would be reasonable to exclude the hidden staves from the count.
E.g. a opera score can have 64 staves, but need only a handful for a duet with accompany. In the directors score, the duet should be printed with 4 systems per page, while the other staves are hidden.
Since we have no 'Book' object either, we have a problem here.

Being a computer programmer, I doubt very much if that is possible without substantial changes to the architecture of Encore. There most likely will be some variable or technical reason restricting this, the way to go is to increase the count all-together for hidden and visible staves. This latter goal would be a better feature request.
