Stacking notes a half step apart without them splitting

Postby jkdrumboy » Sat Apr 03, 2010 4:12 am

As I do my drum scores...If I want to notate a hi-hat being closed ("x" note head on the bottom line) and then I enter a bass drum hit directly above it, it will move the bd note head slightly off to the right and the hi-hat slightly off to the left. Firstly, there is a work-around: I enter in the bass drum on the line above (the G line?) and then I drag it down. Then it properly stacks the two note-heads.

My suggestion is to have the ability to control a default/option for this type of scenario. On a scale of 1-10 it's a 2 but I just wanted to throw this out there.

Thanks!

If the drum map function of Encore 5 functioned as it should, you could use that drum map function to do what you want (if I understand what you meant).
Unfortunately...
In Encore 4.5.5 for Windows, the drum map function did function.

Kind regards
Eveline

I'll check out the drum map function and confirm if that solves the issue. Thanks for your note.
