Since there is no valid version of MTP for OSX, i'm planning to get MTP for Win. Can annyone tell me if MTP for Win will read my old MTP files saved on a Mac under OS9?
Any advice will be apreciated

This is really strange! I actually purchased MTP for Mac off of this site not to long ago and when I did it was offered for both Mac and PC! They must have stopped selling the Mac version. Maybe if you submit an email request maybe they may still sell you a copy...worst thing that can happen is that they don't. I was an extensive MTP user back when Passport owned it .... late eighties....new version is great! Same type of interface and DOES load my older MTP file just like the older versions..no issues....and there are some cool additions and it does work with USB interfaces. I hope they make the Mac version again...it really is a great sequencer! ... Still my favorite!

Thank you for the fast reply E.
I forgot to click on the «notify me» check box... So I just read your post and I will certainly give a try to the Win Demo as soon as I can.
Yesterday I received from GVox a link for the MTP Mac version 6.8.3 and it can play my old files (last saved in 1998) on a MacBookPro OS 10.5.8 in a Roland MT-32 via USB UNO M-Audio.
Unfortunately any editing capabilities.
Hope the Win edition will make it.
