Forum keeps logging me off

As reported before, a while ago the forum started failing to automatically log me on (others reported the same thing). In the last couple of days this has got worse as the forum has started automatically logging me off in the middle of a session with no warning.

Hi p,
The forum has been flooded frequently in the last week. I got the 'General Error MySQL to many connections' message, several times. Probably attacks (IMHO). I gather the host had to restart MySql to solve it. Maybe that happened while you were connected?
And indeed, I can't log in automatically anymore either. Could that be a measure against attacks?
It is all a matter of dedicated people spending time and money. Dedication, time and money, which I rather see spent on Encore software.
